EDGS co-sponsors CIHR Global Jurist of the Year Award Ceremony and Dinner

The Center for International Human Rights at the Northwestern Law School will be awarding its inaugural Global Jurist of the Year Award to  Justice Dikgang Moseneke, Deputy Chief Justice of the South African Constitutional Court. The award recognize judges who have made a substantial contribution to the advancement of international human rights law and international criminal law, particularly those who have shown outstanding dedication to the rule of law and courage in the face of adversity.

Justice Moseneke will deliver addresses at two events on October 16 at the Law School.

A luncheon address on “The Law and the Transition from Apartheid to a Constitutional Democracy.”
